1. Graaaaavy....
So I love any and all things breakfast, so I'm pleased to say there's another great breakfast spot in Watsonville. It's a lil plain on the inside, so I'm hoping they throw some spurs and cowboy hats on the wall at some point.

I ordered the Barrett special, biscuits and gravy with eggs and a side of bacon.  The biscuits and gravy were massive! I love love loved the gravy on top.  It served as a nice counterpoint to the sweet buttery biscuits.

Good service, with lots of food. P.S. if you're having a diet day or aren't too hungry, then you can order off the kids menu, but I suggest you come hungry and get your grub on!

Thanks Allegra in San Jose!

2. Woah there, Silver!  Stop the bus!  (err, horse)  This here's gotta be the dang breakfast and lunch stop this side o the Corralitos Creek!  Y'all best be stoppin' by to check out these digs!

But really, lingo aside, all I have to say is YUM!  My food was so good, I scarcely noticed the plain/drab interior, uncomfortable chairs, and general lack of a saloon-esque interior.  It's a shame they have such a cool catchy name and no decor to back it up.

Anyway, the food is what really matters.  We both had burgers.  I ordered the sourdough burger and oh MAN it was divine!  I'm actually salivating right now just thinking about it.  These words, coming from a former 9-year vegetarian.  I'm telling you, this is absolutely one of the best burgers you can get in town.  The fries were average, but I really don't care about that.  While I can't speak for breakfast (yet), it's on my radar and you can be sure I'll be writing some review updates soon.

Although I was truly heartbroken when Town & Country Korean BBQ closed up shop, I think this replacement more than does it justice!

Thanks Bradley O in Santa Cruz
